The name Hushpuppi has been a household. Many around the world first heard about him when he started making headlines in the news due to his flamboyant lifestyle.
Hushpuppi who joined Instagram in 2012 became popular to the point of having 2 million followers on IG in December 2019. According to him, he chose Instagram because he can show himself to the world beyond his location.

However, Hushpuppi was able to defend himself. He later wrote a long note on Instagram where he said Deji’s claims were unfounded and only did so to tarnish his image.
He was known as the Gucci master and had all their latest collection. From bespoke Gucci Tux to Gucci socks, briefs, jackets and pants. He claimed he wears the brand often because the services they render to him cannot be gotten elsewhere.
Also, Hushpuppi wore other brands like Louis Vuitton (he had an LV duvet), Versace, Chanel, Nike, Hermes, Off White (bespoke Offwhite shirt by Virgila Bloh), Dior, Fendi, Givenchy, Icon, Berluti and more.
On numerous occasions, Hushpuppi posted photos of himself wearing items and or holding shopping bags from these luxury stores.

He only flew first-class and private jets, attended elaborate parties constantly and graced the fashion shows, thus drawing notable profiles to himself including the royal family in the middle east; footballers, and Nigerian celebrities.
Due to his constant patronage, so many brands catered and cared for him. In fact, Fendi and Painzzo Versace Dubai sent him customized cakes in October 2018, for his birthday. You see how much he is worth in the business world?
Although he was a constant preacher of hard work, struggle and success, his lifestyle still kept many questioning his true source of wealth.

Ray Hushpuppi’s real name is Ramon Olorunwa Abbas. Although he claimed to be 30 years old, (he celebrated his 30th birthday on October 11, 2019) an investigation carried out after his arrest shows that he is 38 years old. He was born in October 11, 1982.
Hushpuppi was born and bred in Nigeria. The news circulating the webs says he struggled in the street of Lagos before he moved to Malaysia and later Dubai where he amassed great wealth for himself from engaging in Cybercrime.
This man often spoke of his past life in Nigeria where he inherited poverty as an infant. He was born into poverty and had no infant as a child. Thus, he wanted to make it at all cost.
His life turned around and little wonder why he always expressed gratitude towards the major shifting in wealth sharing in the society.
