Panic Swells in Oyo State as Makinde Approves Demolitions

The Oyo State Executive Council, on Tuesday May 5th, approved the award of the contract for the construction of four Ultra-modern Bus Terminals.

This was announced by the Special Assistant on New Media to the state governor, Olamide.

According to a source, the modern Bus Terminal would be located in the heart of Oyo State such as Iwo Road, Challenge, New Ife Road and Ojoo.

Makinde who is concerned about the people of Oyo has decided to compensate the people who would be affected by the new development.

‘Shop owners who will be affected by the demolitions at the different locations will be considered for shop allocations when the new terminal is ready.’ Olamide said.
